Past, Present, Perfect.......?

A Holiday to Remember

Past, Present, Perfect......?

They would always say, practice makes perfect. But then again, nobody is perfect, so why practice? Ems

In Filipino culture, it's natural that we reflect our past intentions and set our future goals. The so-called concept of '' Flawless New Year, New Me'' is not realistically attainable because perfection does not exist.

I repeat, perfection does not exist.

Perfection may not exist, but it is approached whenever we put growth and consistent effort to improve ourselves. No one is perfect, but we can work towards becoming the best version of ourselves through self-awareness and determination.

This year, my focus is on several key areas of personal development. First, I aim to build my confidence. Confidence is the foundation of how much work and trust we build in ourselves. I believe that by gradually stepping outside of my comfort zone, I hope to develop a stronger belief in my abilities and talents.

Another goal for the new year is to improve my academic performance. Although heavy workload and stress may affect my focus negatively, i would take this as a challenge and instead, i will put more efforts and dedication in order to have success.

Additionally, I seek to strengthen bonds with my family. I have realized that i made less time with them and observed that it has affected me adversely. Maintaining strong relationships with someone you love and care is crucial for emotional well-being. I know that I'm not a perfect son, friend, or a loved one. That's why i strive to become a better man that they deserve - someone more caring, understanding, loving, and pogi I guess.

Lastly, prioritizing physical and mental health is a critical aspect of my self-improvement. This includes maintaining a balanced diet, regular exercise, and ensuring that I take time to care for my mental well-being. I have experienced mental and physical health struggles last year and I know it is inevitable, but I also believe that starting in making healthy habits  can be a good start on a journey towards achieving a healthy mind, body, and soul.

Life is so complex - sometimes really tough. But being firm with our good beliefs and principles can make us stable and achieve perseverance and improvement.

Sometimes, i just wanna throw myself into deep waters because of pain, sorrow, and agony due to unexpected circumstances and this is what life actually is - to overcome challenges and to be resilient.

But now, I will be different

I will never succumb to my inner doubts and fears ever again.

I am not afraid.

I am a fighter.

I am an adventure.
