Carpe Diem

 

            "Carpe Diem, Aidan". This the phrase my uncle, who is a doctor, would always tell me about reaching my dreams. It means that I should make most of every moment and pursue my goals with passion. Because of this, I am determined to take every opportunity to achieve my goal to be a doctor someday. Fifteen years from now, I envision myself taking the final requirements of becoming a doctor. 

          

     I am always motivated and driven in learning. I believe that education does not stop even if you got our diploma or degree. That's after college, I would take medicine and pursue my dream of becoming a doctor.  

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Besides from learning, I also want to help and save other people. Growing up, I have seen a lot of people in my family suffering from diseases. For example, my lola battling with a lung disease and died. I was really devasted upon her passing, and from the experience, i want to prevent other people from having the same. 

            

I know it will be a long and hard battle, but i would always see this journey as a testament and training to perseverance and passion which would later help me in life. I willl always live by the principle ''Carpe Diem", knowing that every step I take brings me closer to the person I aspired to be someday.
