I learned about the importance of determination on the path towards great success in the first quarter. Without good time management and balance, we will never be able to live life at its best; knowing how to network may open our doors to further opportunities in the working world. Step out of the comfort zone-help expand personal growth and new challenges.

However, I do face types of difficulties in the self-confidence; in Basic Electronics, especially the math equations seemed to confuse me sometimes. A big urge was necessary for keeping up with the academics parallel to the extracurricular activities along with facing sleep deprivation when numerous activities were involved.

I learned to divide tasks into manageable little pieces. That is straightforward and simple in dealing with problems and staying committed and dedicated to learning and placing emphasis on prioritizing tasks in relation to their level of importance.

I have a number of plans for myself in the future: to face what comes with hopes, knowing well that fear can be the biggest obstacle. I will continue taking difficulties as big opportunities and never lose hope as perseverance is the way to getting out of those difficulties.

Climate Warriors ( Thematic Output)

⋆⁺₊⋆ ☀︎ ⋆⁺₊⋆

━─────༺༻────━

In recent years, the call to protect our environment has been one of growing urgency due to the more apparent effects of climate change, pollution, and habitat destruction. While it's true that large-scale systemic issues like industrial pollution and deforestation demand cooperation and partnership among nations, there are things that each of us can do to live more sustainably on our own. A conscious lifestyle about the environment does not have to be overwhelming. It's just making intentional choices that positively affect the health of our planet. Here are some insights into how we all can make a difference in the environment in daily life.

· · ────── ·π–₯Έ· ────── · ·

Apart from the CO absorbed, trees clean the very air we breathe. Urban areas have natural air cleaners called trees wherein air quality is more degraded due to pollution. The pollutants absorbed include nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, and ammonia that improve air quality and, consequently, lower health risks often associated with air pollution. According to studies, areas rich in trees often present fewer cases of diseases such as asthma and bronchitis.

❀⊱┄┄┄┄┄┄┄⊰❀❀⊱┄┄┄┄┄┄┄⊰❀

Trees cool the urban environment through shading and evapotranspiration, or the process by which plants release moisture into the air. That's important for cities, where the "urban heat island" effect—the heat caused by concrete, asphalt, and lack of vegetation—can raise temperatures several degrees above those in surrounding rural areas.

Planting trees may seem like a small gesture, but it’s one of the most powerful tools we have for addressing some of the world’s most urgent environmental challenges. From fighting climate change and improving air quality to providing homes for wildlife and boosting our well-being, trees are a gift that keeps on giving.

So the next time you think about what you can do for the planet, consider planting a tree. It’s an act that benefits not only the environment but future generations to come πŸŒ±πŸŒΏπŸƒ

Honoring the Heart of our Future

In 2024, the theme "Together4Teachers" highlights how important educators are in shaping our future. Teachers do so much more than just deliver lessons; they are mentors, supporters, and role models who dedicate their lives to helping students grow.

Being a teacher comes with many challenges. Many spend countless hours outside of class creating engaging lessons and often use their own money to buy supplies, all to ensure their students have the best learning experience possible. Despite the financial strain and the long hours, their passion for teaching shines through in everything they do.

Teachers also face emotional and physical challenges every day. Each classroom is filled with students who have different needs, and it’s the teacher’s job to make sure everyone feels included and supported. This can be stressful, especially with the added pressures of standardized testing and administrative duties. Many educators feel overwhelmed, yet they continue to adapt and find new ways to help their students succeed.

On top of their professional responsibilities, teachers often make personal sacrifices. Many work second jobs to make ends meet since teaching salaries can be low. Their time with family and friends often takes a backseat to lesson planning and grading, as they put their students’ needs first.

This year’s celebration of "Together4Teachers" is an opportunity for all of us to recognize and support the hard work teachers put in every day. It’s essential for communities, families, and policymakers to come together to advocate for better funding and resources for educators. By doing this, we can help ease some of the burdens they carry and allow them to focus on what they love—teaching.

As we honor teachers this year, let’s remember to appreciate their dedication and commitment. By supporting them, we are investing in our future. Teachers play a crucial role in shaping the lives of students and, in turn, the future of our society. Together, we can create a better environment for our educators, giving them the respect and resources they deserve.

Letter for the Philippine President: A Plea for Action

Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr.

Republic of the Philippines

Manila

Vigan City, August 22, 2024

Greetings of Peace Based on Justice!

President Marcos, I am deeply frustrated, worried, and saddened by the current state of our country, especially in terms of our academic standings- widespread poverty, and unresolved issues of unemployment. It pains me to see so many students failing behind their education due to the lack of resources and support, while countless families continue to suffer in poverty with no clear path out. The high number of unemployed Filipinos add to this despair. These issuess are interconnected and cannot be ignored any longer.

The recent rise in prices of essential goods, the continued impact of the pandemic, and the uneven pace of economic recovery have left many of our fellow citizens struggling to make ends meet. Inflation has severely affected the purchasing power of ordinary Filipinos, especially those in the lower-income sectors. This growing disparity is evident as many families fall deeper into poverty while a few reap the benefits of economic recovery. We understand that global factors play a role in this, but as our leader, I implore you to intensify efforts to curb inflation, improve food security, and create sustainable livelihood opportunities for the vulnerable. Programs for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) should also be strengthened to spur local economic growth, as they form the backbone of our economy.

Like any other Filipino, the recent price increases of the basic goods, the remaining impact of the pandemic, and the paced recovery of the economy have driven many of our fellow citizens into another cycle of hardships. Inflation has severely eroded the buying power of the ordinary Filipino, particularly in the low-income sectors. This growing gap is clear from how many families sink deeper into poverty in comparison to a few who will enjoy the fruits of recovery. We appreciate that global factors contribute to this, but as our leader, I urge you to increase efforts to tame inflation, boost food security, and catalyze sustainable livelihoods for our vulnerable citizens. In addition, MSME programs need to be solidified in order to support local economic growth since they consist of the largest share of our economy.

Equally concerning is our ongoing territorial dispute with China in the West Philippine Sea. It is demoralizing to see our sovereignty being challenged, and our fishermen harassed, while our resources in these waters are continually threatened. While it is appreciated that your administration was trying to engage in diplomatic dialogue, we hope the administration's stance on defending our sovereign rights as declared by the Permanent Court of Arbitration in 2016 would be firmer; otherwise, the ripple effects will leave a mark for a long time. We accept that peaceful relations with China are necessary, but we cannot compromise our national interests for them.

I respectfully appeal you to take immediate and decisive action to improve our education system, create more jobs, and provide necessary support to lift our people out of poverty. The future of our nation depends on it.

Sincerely Yours,

Aidan Marc Zaniel A. Ramos

Stronger Together: Towards A More Disaster-Resilient Philippines

                                    · · ────── ꒰ঌ·✦·ΰ»’꒱ ────── · ·

The Philippines is often hit by natural disasters like typhoons, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions because of its location. Climate change is making these events more severe, with unpredictable weather patterns becoming more common. Many people in the country live in vulnerable areas, especially those who are poor, making them more at risk when disasters strike. Rapid urbanization without proper planning also contributes to the problem, as cities are often overcrowded and lacking in disaster-ready infrastructure.

To address these issues, the government has put in place laws and programs to improve disaster preparedness. Community involvement is key, with locals participating in disaster drills and early warning systems. International organizations and other countries also provide much-needed support in terms of funding and expertise. There have been efforts to build stronger infrastructure, like flood control systems and safer buildings, to help the country better withstand disasters. These actions show a commitment to making the Philippines more resilient.

However, there are still challenges that need to be overcome. Limited resources, especially in rural areas, make it hard to fully implement disaster preparedness programs. Corruption can also be a problem, leading to funds being misused and reducing the effectiveness of disaster response. Public awareness is another issue, as not everyone knows how to properly prepare for disasters. Climate change continues to create new challenges, requiring constant adaptation and improvement. Addressing these challenges is crucial for building a more disaster-resilient Philippines.

Tranquil Tales

⋆。゚☁︎。⋆。 ゚☾ ゚。⋆

Growing old is not just about handling your old-aged muscles and tissues but also the  burden of daily intrigues that you have experienced during your entire existence. In my interests,     historical military wars have astounded me in such ways. The idea of hope and victory replenishes my soul. In my grand theater of life, I view myself as a curious historian, captivated by the great wars and battles that have shaped our world. Born on the third of June two-thousand and nine, I     entered a world filled with my own set of challenges and victories. My passion in learning history and study conflicts reflects my interest in understanding how societies evolve from struggles.

Just  as historians and archaeologists analyze events, I have navigated my personal challenges such as the seperation of my parents and academic setbacks. These experiences have taught me essential lessons in resilience and adaptability in the face of adversities. I see each personal battle as a  chapter   in my own historical story. This allows me to approach life with a sense of appreciation for the lessons I learned from both triumphs and trials

These personal battles have formed my character into someone outgoing, friendly, and continuosly eager to learn. I approach each interaction with the same openness and curiosity that I apply to studying historical events. Engaging with others is an opportunity for me to know them better     and form meaningful connections. This nature drives me to explore different perspectives. Each connection and relationship offer a chance to deepen my empathy and enhance my personal growth. I learn from others through my own experiences.     My future resembles traveling on a new expedition; much like historical explorers venturing into unknown territories. I aspire to study medicine abroad, seeking new knowledge and skills to build a successful career, that precedes the borders of my country. This goal is not just about achieving personal success but also creating a fulfilling and comfortable life for myself. I dream of sharing this journey with my loved ones. Traveling the world and fulfilling my bucket list are important to me. Just as explorers of the past ventured into unknown lands to expand, I am not atraid. I am a fighter. I am an adventure.
