⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚ ⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚ ⁀➷⊹ ࣪ ˖~⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚ ⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚ Valentine’s Day is a time to celebrate love in all its forms—not just for a partner, but also for friends and family. It’s a day to remind the people who matter most how much they mean to us. The material gifts we give and receive doesn't define the concept of Valentines. It's about the romance, appreciation, and care we give and receive to each and every one of us.       For my friends , I show my appreciation by sending thoughtful messages, sharing small gifts, or simply spending time together. I believe that true friendship is about being there for each other, through sorrow and success. Whether it’s someone who’s always there to listen or a friend who’s made me smile during tough times, they all play a big role in my life. It's not just about giving gifts, but about showing up and letting them know they’re appreciated.   For my family , the people who raised me, Valentine’s Day is a chance to expr...

Reflection for the Third Quarter  •☽────✧˖°˖☆˖°˖✧────☾••☽────✧˖°˖☆˖°˖✧────☾•           This quarter, I learned new concepts and skills that helped me improve academically and personally. I discovered more about effective time management, critical thinking, and problem-solving. I also gained a deeper understanding of the subjects I studied, especially new circuits in Basic Electronics and more concepts in Science - two of the hardest subjects for me, which made learning more meaningful. However, I faced challenges such as difficulty in understanding some lessons and managing multiple tasks at once. There were times when I felt overwhelmed by schoolwork and deadlines. To overcome these challenges, I asked for help from my teachers and classmates. I also adjusted my study habits, making sure to prioritize tasks and review lessons regularly. Moving forward, I will continue improving my study habits and managing my time effectively. I will also se...

Chinese New Year 2025

Image
Kung Hei Fat Choy, Filipinos  Chinese New Year is one of the widely celebrated events in the Philippines. Despite being a non-Chinese country, our country has a strong Chinese influence due to centuries of trade and migration. This celebration continues to be relevant because of cultural connections, economic activities, and government recognition. The Philippines has a long history of interaction with the Chinese. Before Spanish colonization, Chinese traders visited the islands to exchange goods. Many Chinese migrants settled in the Philippines, and their traditions merged with local customs. Over time, Chinese New Year became part of Filipino culture, especially in communities with large Chinese populations. Binondo, the oldest Chinatown in the world, remains a center of this celebration. Many Filipino families have Chinese ancestry. They continue to observe traditions such as wearing red for good luck, giving ang pao or red envelopes, and preparing round fruits for prosper...

Vigan Cityhood

Image
Vigan is located in the province of Ilocos Sur, on the western coast of Luzon, facing the South China Sea. It is known for its old streets designed with cobblestones, Spanish-era houses, and traditional horse-drawn carriages called k alesas . Vigan is accessible from nearby provinces and serves as a historical and cultural center in the region. Its location made it an important area for trade and governance during the Spanish colonial period.                Vigan has a long history that began as a trading post for Chinese, Indian, and Malay merchants. It grew in importance when the Spaniards arrived in the 16th century and made it one of their key settlements in the north. It was originally called "Ciudad Fernandina" in honor of King Ferdinand of Spain. Over time, Vigan became a municipality under the Philippine government. On January 22, 2001, Vigan officially became a city t...

Past, Present, Perfect.......?

Image
A Holiday to Remember Past, Present, Perfect......? They would always say, practice makes perfect. But then again, nobody is perfect, so why practice? Ems  In Filipino culture, it's natural that we reflect our past intentions and set our future goals. The so-called concept of '' Flawless New Year, New Me'' is not realistically attainable because perfection does not exist.  I repeat, perfection does not exist.  Perfection may not exist , but it is approached whenever we put growth and consistent effort to improve ourselves. No one is perfect, but we can work towards becoming the best version of ourselves through self-awareness and determination. This year, my focus is on several key areas of personal development. First, I aim to build my confidence. Confidence is the foundation of how much work and trust we build in ourselves. I believe that by gradually stepping outside of my comfort zone, I hope to develop a ...
