Celebrating The ISNHS'ian Way

Image
It's my 2nd time experiencing the high school day celebration of my school and it only feels like my first time. This nis because there's always something new in this celebration.  Meeting new people, experiencing new activities, new bonds, and new cultures.                      The vibe and and the excitement of the celebration never gets old. We started the day with a parade. It was tiring but fulilling at the same time since it got us the exercise we needed. The whole class also cooperated in being behaved because we were rooting for the "Most Disciplined Section" in which we did. Then, we got back to school to prepare for the field demonstration, which is the simultaneous dancing of students per grade level in our fielfd. As we started dancing, the whole crowd cheered for us. I never felt any shame in dancing and instead, I enjoyed it. We ...

Thrived and Survived

This quarter is probably the hardest one for this school-year. It was truly a rollecoaster ride. I gained so much lessons and even difficult moments which then helped shape my character 'till this moment. This quarter, I learned so many things, whether it be in academics or in morals. First, ofcourse, I learned new concepts in my academics, the promising one is probably how to create logic gates, chemical equations, more statistical tests, and even how to make a website without worrying its html codes. It was really fun and kind of challenging to be honest.                         I also gained and rediscovered new rules and principles in life. For example, in groupworks, I learned how to be patient at all times and realized that some memebers dont just work out for you. That's why in coordinating with them, I should be more approachable and cooperative so that we c...

Carpe Diem

"Carpe Diem, Aidan". This the phrase my uncle, who is a doctor, would always tell me about reaching my dreams. It means that I should make most of every moment and pursue my goals with passion. Because of this, I am determined to take every opportunity to achieve my goal to be a doctor someday. Fifteen years from now, I envision myself taking the final requirements of becoming a doctor.                     I am always motivated and driven in learning. I believe that education does not stop even if you got our diploma or degree. That's after college, I would take medicine and pursue my dream of becoming a doctor.                                                                       ...

Equal Colors

My mother’s labor shapes lives, yet remains in the shadows.                My mother is one of the many hardworking women who have faced challenges in her workplace and society. As a dedicated worker, she often had to prove herself in ways that her male colleagues did not. Despite her skills and commitment, she encountered barriers such as unequal opportunities and the expectation to balance work and household duties. She would come home tired and exhausted yet, she would still lead household chores and responsibilities.                 Women play a vital role in building nations. From laborers in factories and farmers in fields to teachers and healthcare workers, they contribute to economic growth and community development. However, many of them continue to face unfair wages, limited job opportunities, and unsafe working conditions. Gender equality means ensuring that these women receiv...
